Buffet Lunch & Beetle Drive, Friday 6th September

Buffet Lunch & Beetle Drive, Friday 6th September

Last Friday we hosted our first ever (well my first ever) Beetle Drive. Teams battled it out to be the first one to draw a complete beetle. There was absolutely no skill involved, just the luck of the dice - although one team did got very artistic and colour coded their beetle.

Before the game, we all enjoyed a lovely cold buffet lunch with the egg sandwiches proving a big hit. A huge thank you to Janet Hedges for helping in the kitchen, you are a star! We then split into 4 teams and the game commenced. There were a few frustrations as a few people seemed unable to throw a 6, the first number needed to draw the body and get started. Once the body was drawn it was a race to get the head, eyes, legs, wing and antennae. The winner from each team won a chocolate bar.

Great fun was had by all and hopefully we can repeat the event again in 2025.
