Ukulele Beginners 6 Week Course - FREE

Description

Free Ukulele lessons!

Do you have a ukulele in the loft which you meant to learn to play but never quite got round to it? Even if you don’t already have an instrument, if you’re free on Thursday afternoons and enjoy singing and socialising, why not give our free beginners’ course a try. We’re offering this one-off course to help you to get started

The ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to get started with. In less than an hour, you will be strumming your first songs and after 6 weeks most people are ready to join in with a singalong group.

It has four strings and is much smaller than a guitar. Its small size makes it very portable and quite a few people take up the ukulele in order to play along with their children or grandchildren.

The ukulele is a great community instrument. Singing in a group, as many people who sing in choirs find, is very uplifting and the perfect antidote to the darkest time of year. Don’t feel shy about coming along.  Joining in is the most important thing. It doesn’t matter if you’re not a great player or singer, if you join in with enthusiasm, you’ll get so much out of it. It really is a fun instrument to play and ukulele players don’t tend to take themselves too seriously. Many people find that once they try it, they’re hooked. Rosemary is a friendly and patient teacher and will make you feel very welcome.

Book your place and come along. If you don’t have a ukulele, you can borrow one during the classes to try.
